Dearest Website Visitor,

In response to your inquiry regarding what I’m all about, well, as far as I can tell you, it’s been a long, crazy trip. I spent a lot of my younger days in the ‘old times,’ those times being the 1990’s to the early 2000’s. I think I’m what they call an “elder millennial” because I grew up both with and without the internet and can safely say the AOL install disc that came in the physical mailbox one day changed my life.

I wrote a lot as a kid, but then took time off when the 90’s called during high school and after I entered my ‘Work Era’ of life in my mid 20’s. Luckily though, the thoughts and stories still swam endlessly through my dreams and never truly left me - which made it much easier when I finally decided to start writing them down again.

Which brings me to now, living with my husband in Southern California with our four cats. I’m far enough from Disneyland that it makes me want to pull my hair out if I try to drive there during rush hour, but close enough to be a pass holder (um, Magic Key holder). I’ve since entered the next stage of my life (which according to my previous employer was “retirement” because I don’t think they could really fathom someone wanting to leave that place) and now in my 40’s, I get to do what I always dreamed of doing: sharing my stories with as many people as I possibly can while simultaneously being my own boss so I can make my own schedule and determine exactly how I want to live this one life I have to live.
